Ronnie was born March 15, 1947 in Ebon, KY to Garland and Reva (Roberson) Craft. He married Vicki L. Davis on March 22, 1968; she survives.
He is also survived by three children: Michelle Bonebrake of Sullivan, IL, Lance (Michelle) Craft of The Woodlands, TX, Amie (Aaron) Deckard of Wheatland, IN and Tim Bonebrake of Sullivan, IL; a brother: Henry (Mary) Craft of Charleston, IL; a sister: Caroline (Doug) Pearcy of Kansas, IL; a brother-in-law, Will Binion of Arthur, IL; ten grandchildren: Cody and Kaleb Bonebrake of Sullivan, IL, Justin, Alyson, Ashley, Audrey and Abby Craft of The Woodlands, TX and Avery, Alie and Alea Deckard of Wheatland, IN; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: David Manning; and three sisters: Ann Binion, Bonnie Hunter and Jerry Craft.
Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War and was also stationed in Alaska. After his military service, he worked in several different fields including: Illinois Consolidated, Ozark Airlines, National Safety Association, pest control, Cellular One (where he worked for over 15 years), Mediacom and Mooney Motors. He served as a deacon at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church, and also was a member of the Oakland V.F.W. Post #3637 and the Oakland Masonic Lodge #219. He enjoyed woodworking, mushroom hunting, working outdoors, raising chickens for eggs, and dearly loved his family. One of his favorite ways to spend time was sitting around a campfire at home, surrounded by his family.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 28 at the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church with military honors provided by Oakland V.F.W. Post #3637.
