Mrs. Beulah “Juanita” Hilderbrand, 100, of Clay City, Illinois, died at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015, at the Burge House in Flora, Illinois.

Juanita was born on February 11, 1915, to Adolf and Winnie May (Sparling) Lister in Ingraham, Illinois. On May 29, 1930, Juanita married Delbert Madison Hilderbrand in Clay County, Illinois. Juanita spent her life as a homemaker. She dedicated her life to the care and upbringing of her family.

Juanita is survived by her daughter, Betty Eastin; sons,, Thomas J. Hilderbrand, Ronald Ray Hilderbrand, Sr. and wife Ruth; daughter-in-law, Fran Hilderbrand; twelve grandchildren, Sharon Kay Ashlock, Debbie Goodman and husband Matt, Darrell Hilderbrand and wife Misty, Kenny Hilderbrand, Wayne Hilderbrand and wife Tammy, Phil Hilderbrand and wife Wanda, Kenneth McCullough, Ronnie Ray Hilderbrand, Jr., Angela West, Gary Hilderbrand and wife Connie, Troy Hilderbrand and wife Stacy, Charles Hilderbrand; brothers, Paul Brown and wife Dorothy, Dean Brown and wife Shirley, Norman Newstedt and wife Virginia; sister, Noma Fern Ingleson; 41 great-grandchildren, 37 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great- Grandchild.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Winnie May Lister, husband, Delbert Hilderbrand, son, Jerry Hilderbrand, son-in-law, Richard Eastin, grandchildren, Linda Rae Snell, Paul David Snell, Jerry Don Snell, Connie Thomas, and Frankie Hilderbrand; brothers, Steve, Grant, and Harvey, and sisters, Peg, Zella, Doris, and Evelyn.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Kohn Funeral Home in Flora, IL.

Visitation will be from 12 – 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Kohn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clay City Cemetery in Clay City, IL.

Expressions of sympathy should take the form of donations to Clay County Hospice or Clay County Animal Rescue and Shelter (CCARS) and may be received at the funeral home.
