Nancy Carol Hafeman, 73, of Forestville, fell asleep in the loving arms of her family and awoke in the arms of the Lord, Thursday afternoon, March 12, 2015, at Golden Living Center – Dorchester in Sturgeon Bay.

She was born June 23, 1941, in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of the late Marvin Louis and Mae Margaret (Schilling) Keller. Nancy graduated from Sturgeon Bay High School in 1959.

She had worked for Overland Bowling (on the west side of Sturgeon Bay) and Bay Shore Inn for 18 years.

On September 3, 1971, Nancy married Roger Ervin Hafeman at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Maplewood. They were blessed with over 43 years of marriage.

She was a member of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Nancy enjoyed motorcycling with Roger, and together, they were a part of the Door Devils Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed shopping and bowling, earning many trophies and pins. Nancy collected glass villages and had an extensive doll collection. Most of all, she loved and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband, Roger of Forestville; two sons, Jim Rudy of Sturgeon Bay, Steve (Linda) Rudy of Sturgeon Bay; step-daughter, Debra Varga of Corbin, KY; step-son, Rick Hafeman of Greencastle, IN; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ione (Don) Schwantes of Green Bay, Ellie (Bob) Crabb of Delafield, Bonnie Meyer of Sturgeon Bay; and three brothers, Tom (Kim) Keller of Forestville, Mitch (Barb) Keller of Sturgeon Bay, and Merrill (Virginia) Feiker of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Marvin and Jim Keller; and brother-in-law, Ken Meyer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church in Maplewood with Fr. Carl Schmitt and Dcn. Mark Hibbs officiating.

Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum in Sturgeon Bay.

Friends may call at the church, Wednesday morning, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
