Chris passed away suddenly Saturday evening March 21, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 43 years. He was born October 10, 1971 in Bay City and has resided in Bay County all of his life. He graduated from Bay City Western High School in 1989 and was currently employed at Causley Trucking Co. as a truck driver, a career that he loved. Even though his work kept him busy, Chris participated within his community in numerous ways, as a member and officer of the Auburn Walleye Club and as hockey coach for the Bay County Hockey program where he met so many people. Chris was an avid sports fan, he enjoyed football, hockey, golf and playing horseshoes. An avid outdoorsman through and through, he enjoyed various outdoor activities and the time that he spent camping, hunting and fishing. He had a great love for helping others, was an outstanding husband and father and he especially cherished all the time that he spent his wife Michelle, his son Brandon, his family and friends. All who knew Chris Hunt would agree that he was one of the nicest guys around. He was more than willing to work hard, yet he took the time to enjoy life along the way, making memories with the ones he loved most. An extraordinary man to know and love, he will be deeply missed but never forgotten. On August 20, 1994 he married the love of his life, his wife of twenty years the former Michelle Lynn LaLonde at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Auburn and she survives his passing.
