A New Haven resident, Henry "Earl" Owens, Jr., age 86, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Flaget Memorial Hospital. He was born April 12, 1928 in Louisville to the late Henry Earl Sr. & Zelma Rosa Ash Owens. Mr. Owens was a former floor and tile installer, an Army veteran of World War II, former Mason and VFW member and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years Lorene Casey Owens of New Haven.
Funeral services for Mr. Henry Earl Owens Jr. will be Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 12:00noon at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 11:00am until time of service at noon. Burial will be in Lebanon National Cemetery with military honors. The Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
