Thea M. Thompson, 93, of Lodi, died Friday morning in an Elk Grove convalescent hospital after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Topeka, Kan. and has lived in Lodi for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Lodi.
Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband Joseph R Thompson who was the editor of the Lodi News-Sentinel for 20 years and was also the editor of the Stockton Record for 10 years prior to his death in 1954.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by three daughters, Margaret Thompson, Jean Dohn and Ruth Dyer; two sons, Raymond F. Thompson and Joseph K. Thompson; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
