Fannie Worst was born on March 30, 1912 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was the daughter of John Worst and Nettie Barendse Worst. She was rasied in a family of eight children. She married the Rev. Henry P. Baak. He relocated to Cawker City, Kansas and then to Wooden, Iowa after her death. She passed away on May 24, 1949 at the age of 37.
