MASON, Russell J. – Of Flint, age 89, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his home.
Funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Monday, March 23, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Steve Porter officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Russell was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 26, 1925 and was a resident of Flint.
On January 25, 1973 he married Mary Oehring in Genesee, Michigan.
Surviving are wife, Mary Mason; daughters, Lin Johnson and Karen White; son, Randy Jordan; grandchildren, Jennifer (Steve) Porter, Kristen (Ed) Clark, Kelli (Jason) Horner, Ryan Jordan and Corey Jordan; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 dogs, Trinket, Roxy and Honey Comb.
He was preceded in death by sister, Delores Sue Chalfant.
