Charlie Ray Morrison, 82, died Friday, May 23, 2014 in Muskogee, OK. He was born September 8, 1931 in Altus, OK to Lilly Mae (Gentry) and Jim Emory Morrison. Charlie was a resident of Muskogee County for over 70 years and worked for Arkhola Sand and Gravel most of his life, retiring in 1994 at the age of 63.
Charlie was preceded in death his wife, Lodema; daughter, Carolyn Hicks; and son, Lee Morrison. He is survived by daughters, Ramona Bernard, Thelma Morrison, both of Muskgoee; son, Roy Morrison of Alexandria, Virginia; sisters, Sue Anderson, Marion Bell and Jimmie Adkins; and brother, Johnny Morrison.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Bradley Belltower Chapel with Reverend Billy Raines officiating.
