Debra Lynn Barnes, age 62, of Manila, Arkansas, died Saturday March 21, 2015, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
She was born at Wilson, Arkansas to the late Hermon and Leona Goldman Mofield and was raised in the Joiner and Bassett areas. She had been a Manila resident for the past 10 years and was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Junior Mofield; and two sisters, Wilma Blackwell and Wanda McBride.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Charles "Buddy" Barnes of Manila; son, Charles J. Barnes of Trumann; two daughters, Judy Long and her husband Richard of Jonesboro and Alea Barnes of Manila; two brothers, James Mofield of Manila and Charles Mofield of Leachville; four sisters, Betty Foster of Dallas, Judy Smith of Forrest City, Cathy Starlings of Dallas and Sharon Sparks of Jonesboro. She also leaves four grand-children and one great-grand-child.
Funeral services were at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila. Burial was in Manila Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were by Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
