In 1929, in Owsley Co, he was married to Bessie Ann Whicker & she preceded him in death in 1966. He is survived by two sons, James (Shirley) Evans, Louisville, Ky & Delmas (Jane) Evans, Hamilton; one daughter, Glenna (Tommy) Partin, Mt Orab, Ohio; two sisters, Vina McWhorter & Mae Bond; five grandchildren; & three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, Tuesday, at 2:00 pm, with Rev Joe Vickers, of the Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 5 to 8 pm.
