Nellie E. Edwards of Springfield died at 6:38 p.m. Monday at Humana Hospital Springfield.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Flora and was a resident of Springfield for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, in 1984 and a son, Gilbert, in 1944.
Mrs. Edwards attended the Chatham Christian Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John (Vera) Dietel of Springfield; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bisch Memorial Home with the Rev. Rick Wenneborg officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
