Junie Inez Calhoun, 71, of 141 Dupre Farm Road, Buffalo, widow of J.W. Calhoun, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at her home after a long illness. Mrs. Calhoun was born May 23, 1932 in Jonesville, Va., a daughter of the late Woodrow (Woody) and Beulah Mae Lawson Howell. Surviving are two daughters, three sons, a sister, four brothers, 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Big Mouth. Mrs. Calhoun was predeceased by two sisters, Lois Ann Howell and Charlotte Black and a brother, Eddie Calhoun; and a grandchild, Teressa Bradburn. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Union Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Randy Smith. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina, 128 Medical Science Drive, Union, S.C. 29379.
