Daryl Hyland (D.H.) Foster, 67, of Oklahoma Lane, TX died Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm (CST), Sunday, March 29, 2015, at the Oklahoma Lane cemetery with Russ Ponder officiating.
D.H. was born April 19, 1947 to Nelson and Georgie (Hyland) Foster in Clovis, NM. He farmed in Oklahoma Lane all of his life and was also employed by Parmer County Precinct 3 for 15 years and retired in 2006. He served 6 years in the New Mexico National Guard. D.H. was a fantastic father and friend. He lived for his farm and his family and he will be missed by all.
Survivors include his two sons, Monty(Care) Foster and Brandon (Jalaina) Foster of Farwell, TX; two brothers, Gary Foster and Lyndon (Steph) Foster of Oklahoma Lane, TX; sister, Nedda (Terry) Travis of Oklahoma Lane, TX; and five grandchildren, Chelsea, Amarai, Hyland, Braddock, and Braxton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Georgie; niece Candace Travis; and brother, Gerald Foster.
