Johanna Johnson, 94, of Loveland passed away January 14, 2012 at Loveland Good Samaritan Village. She was born on March 24, 1917 in Burdett, Kansas to Carl and Hedwig Eickhoff. She attended Hebron College Academy and graduated from Wartburg College in Weaverly, Iowa. Johanna moved to Loveland, Colorado from the Milwaukee area 19 years ago. She married Jim Johnson on June 30, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

She did parish work at the Lutheran Churches in Oshkosh, Beaver Dam and Milwaukee for 20 years. Johanna had also worked at the Christian Book Store in Milwaukee and the public library in Milwaukee for 13 years as a librarian assistant retiring in 1983.

Johanna met her husband at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio where they danced for 5 years then began to square dance for 10 years. She had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Loveland, Colorado since 1993.

She is survived by her husband and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Loveland Good Samaritan Village. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Loveland Burial Park..
