Mrs. Douglas Falconer passed away at her home in Granite Falls, July 27, after an illness of only four weeks.
Borghild Riggs was born oct. 27, 1880, at Glenwood at which place she grew to womanhood. She was married to Douglas Falconer, son of Dr. and Mrs. T. Falconer of this city, Dec. 25, 1917 at Minneapolis, the young couple making their home in Granite Falls, where Mr. Falconer is employed as a druggist.
The body wa shipped here for burial, and the funeral was held from the Falconer residence and the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon. Rev Lee, who had been Mrs. Falconer's pastor for fourteen years at Glenwood, and who had married her, conducted the services. He was assisted by Rev. Mr. Parish. The pallbearers were: Dr. Strang, Dr. Flemming, Otto Landeen, Vernice Turton, Wm. McFarlane and Harry Stevens. Both services were largely attended by relatives and friends of Glenwood. Besides her husband, the deceased leaves a mother, four brothers and one sister to mourn her loss.
