Obituary-Oral Ronald Brenner, 72, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Muncie and was the son of Oral and Juanita (Wake) Brenner.
Oral was a graduate of Muncie Central High School and a U.S. Army Veteran, serving as a Sgt. during the Vietnam War where he earned the Purple Heart with an Oak Leaf Cluster.
He was a retiree of Borg-Warner Automotive, a member of U.A.W. Local 287 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. His hobbies included photography, fishing, working in his yard and riding his motorcycle.
Mr. Brenner is survived by his wife; his mother; a son and a daughter; a sister and a brother-in-law; a granddaughter and great-granddaughter; five nieces; three step-daughters, two step-sons, a step-grandson, two step-granddaughters, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will take place.
