Jan 4, 1929 - Mar 21, 2015 Mr. Billy Jene Bowen age 86, a resident of Gulf Shores, AL passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015. Mr. Billy Jene Bowen was a member of Gulf Shores Church of Christ for many years. Mr. Bowen was preceded in death by his parents, 8 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by his wife Bobbie Nell (Heard) Bowen of Gulf Shores, AL; son Rickey (Barbara) Bowen of Abbeville, Al; son Ronnie (Robin) Bowen of Des Moines, IA ; daughter Sonja (Max) Osborn of Foley, AL; one sister Wanda Nell Gilliam of Tuscaloosa, AL; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Funeral services for Mr. Bowen will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Gulf Shores Church of Christ starting at 2:00p.m. with Rev Ray Reynolds officiating, burial will follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park. There will be a time of visitation with the Bowen family at the church from 12:00 pm until 2:00pm prior to the funeral service. The Bowen family request that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Gulf Shores Church of Christ Lads to Leaders or the Titus Camp programs P.O. Box 223 Gulf Shoes, AL 36547.
