Obituary-Fauerbach

F.L. Fauerbach died at St. Frances* hospital Dec. 14th after an illness of about a month caused by infection of a finger. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fauerbach and was born on January 10th, 1884 on the home place here. On April 12th, 1920, he was united in marriage to Miss Maude Dutton. To this union were born five children, Mary, Erma, Elizabeth, Lois and Joseph.

He was a member of the Catholic church, the Modern Woodmen and Farmers Union and is survived by his wife and children, parents and sisters, Mayme Reid of Marion, Iowa; Bertha Kaul of Topeka; Mrs. Anna Bouchey; Frances at home; brothers, William at San Diego, Calif., and Oscar at home.

His funeral was held Saturday morning at the Catholic church and was laid to rest in the St. Mary's cemetery.
His death was very unexpected and his many friends and neighbors were deeply grieved and shocked at the news. We can say every family in the neighborhood was represented at the funeral and friends from miles around were there which proved his deep esteem. We deeply sympathize with the bereaved family and relatives.
