Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until service time at the church.
Leroy Foster was born March 22, 1934 in Thomastown to his parents Jessie Lee and Laura McCurdy Foster, and passed away one day shy of his 81st birthday, March 21, 2015 at the MS Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko the age of 80.
He was married to Marie Williams on November 2, 1952 and to this union was born four children: Roy, Debra, Rhonda, and Laura. He was a retired truck driver for Presto, Inc., and was an Air Force veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and making peanut brittle for his family and friends. He was a member of Branch Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of over 62 years: Marie Foster of Morton; four children: Roy (Donna) Foster of Pickens; Debra (Earl) Foxworth of Dothan, AL; Rhonda (Jerry) Tondreau of Coden, AL; and Laura (Ricky) Stubblefield of Hernando; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister: Virginia (James) Davis of Morton; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Katie McCollum, Gay Nell Bates, and Betty Sue Bierman; and two brothers: Charles Foster and Dan Foster.
Pallbearers will be A.J. Wooten, T.J. Wooten, Jacob Lewis, Jacob Foster, Mason Stubblefield, and Ricky Stubblefield.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Foster and Tim Winn.
