PRINCETON - Mrs. Glenna M. "Peggy" Kessinger, 86, of the Glenwood Park Retirement Village near Princeton, formerly of 303 Bee Street, died Monday, July 26, 1999, at the retirement village. Born Sept. 27, 1912, in Summers County, she was a daughter of the late Albert F. and Clara Underwood Cecil Caldwell. She and her husband, owned and operated Ray’s Cleaners in Princeton for many years. She was a member of the First Christian Church on Straley Avenue, Princeton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donzie E. Kessinger; brothers, Roy, Estil, Hollice and Brady Caldwell; and sisters, Elma Dean Wood, Eva McNamara and Amanda Lorene Jennings. Survivors include only nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Burns Wornal Chapel of Memorial Funeral Directory, Athens Road, Princeton, with Rev. Gary Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Princeton. Men of the church will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
