Carlos A. Holland, age 87, late of Lockport, passed away peacefully March 11, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Rushing Arkansas, living in Lockport for many years.

Employed by General Motors for 37 years, retiring in 1993.

US Army Veteran, member of Texaco Golf Club, U.A.W. Union Member Local # 558 and loved landscaping and gardening.

Preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Mary (Long) Holland; and his 10 brothers and sisters.

Survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Eileen (Gore) Holland; children, Sandra (Danny) Hundley, Lloyd (Betty Riker) Holland, Carleen Cook and Kenneth (Lisa) Holland; 22 grandchildren,23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Baptist Church of Lockport would be appreciated.

Services will be held Friday, March 20,2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel, 1105 E. 9th St., Lockport with Pastor Gil Palmer of First Baptist Church officiating.

Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.

Visitation Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
