Mary Emma Edwards of Marydel died Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at Ruxton Health of Denton. She was 88. Born May 11, 1918, in Goldsboro, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Hutson. Her husband, Russell Edwards, died July 12, 1994.
She is survived by her son, Alfred James Edwards Sr. of Henderson; six grandchildren, Carolyn L Hinebaugh of Dover, Del., Barbara A Welzel of Denton, Alfred J Edwards Jr "Jimmy", and Donna K Perrego, both of Wyoming, Del., David L Edwards Sr. of Henderson and Michael Edwards of Queenstown; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Russell, her daughter, Dorothy Marie Edwards, her brothers, Medford Hutson and Joseph Hutson, and her sister, Annie Bright.
