Cecil Ray Green was the son of Henry Green and Mabel Laura (Jensen) Green. He had 7 siblings.

He immigrated to Canada with his parents and siblings Nov 1920.

1921 and 1931 Canada Census: He lived at Arthur, Ontario with his parents and siblings.

Cecil married Lillian Mae Jolliffe on June 2, 1951 at London, Ontario per Lillian's obituary.

Cecil R. Green
(April 4, 1919 - March 15, 2015)

Cecil R. Green, age 95, of Leesburg, Florida and formerly of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, to the late Henry & Mabel (Jensen) Green, he was the fourth eldest of eight children. Cecil was married to the late Lillian Mae (Jolliffe) Green who passed away November 12, 2009. They were married 58 years.

As a young lad in Arthur, Ontario, Canada he worked on the family farm plowing the fields with horses. Cecil moved to Michigan in 1944. He was a great carpenter, building his own home and assisting others build theirs. He belonged to the Carpenters Union. Music was an important part of Cecil & Lillian's lives. They sang in the church choir and were longtime members at Warren Woods Church Of The Nazarene. Cecil played the fiddle, the saw and many more instruments. He has wintered in Leesburg since 1994.

Cecil is survived by his 3 brothers, Ken Green of London, Ontario, Canada, Willard (Marion) Green of Fort McCoy, FL, and Orlo T. (Gwen) Green of Leesburg, FL, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, he was also predeceased by two sisters; Nilah Burtard and Genevieve Nicholson.

Services were held at Harden/Pauli Funeral Home Chapel, in Eustis, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. Cecil was a great brother. We will miss him, but we will let him go. He longed to be with his Savior. Inurnment will be in Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery East, Clinton Twp. Share memories at www.vickfuneralhome.com.
