Gregory Neal Butler, 58, of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, died on March 19, 2015. He was born on March 18, 1957, in Gadsden, Alabama. He was a resident of Hokes Bluff for the past 28 years, and he was a lifelong member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. He graduated from Emma Sansom High School in 1975' then later graduated from Jacksonville State University, Magna Cum Laude, with a degree in special education. He taught school in Rome, Georgia, for several years. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Butler. He is survived by his mother and nephew. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. March 24, 2015 at Collier-Butler Funeral Home.
