Ruby Marie Thompson Bart, 86, died at 6:26 AM Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Lafayette Home Hospital. Born June 2, 1919, in Lafayette, she attended Battle Ground Junior and Senior High Schools and Jefferson HIgh School in her senior year, graduating in 1937. She was married to Donald Herbert Bart on December 20, 1941, in St. James Lutheran Church; he died Feb. 29, 1980.

Mrs. Bart had worked in the business office of Lafayette Home Hospital. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and Ladies Society, the altar guild and St. James Food Pantry.

Surviving are two sisters, Delores Cavanaugh (husband Edward, Jr.) of Lafayette and Rosalie Smith (husband Wayne) of Largo, FL; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Odessa Thompson.
