E. B. DOUGLAS DIES IN WEST- Millionaire, 56, Suffers Heart Attack. Edward Bruce Douglas, 56, Minneapolis millionaire, died of a heart attack at his home in San Francisco, Calif., Wednesday. His residence here was at Walden [estate], Lake Minnetonka. Mr. Douglas was the son of Mrs. Mahala D. Douglas, Lake Minnetonka, civic and social leader who died last spring. His father, Walter D. Douglas, who died in the sinking of the Titanic, was associated with the Quaker Oats Co. A brother, George Camp Douglas, was killed while serving with the Royal Air Force. Surviving are his wife, Marthe, and a daughter, Beatrice. Memorial services to be held here will be announced later. Burial will be at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, his birthplace.
