Age 68, of Hazel Green, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at home. Dave was born on July 13, 1946, in Hazel Green, Wisconsin, the son of Donald and Pearl E. (Thompson) Ring. He married on October 22, 1976. He served in the Army in Germany from 1964-1967. Dave worked at John Deere Dubuque Tractor Works for 36 years. He was a member of the Izaak Walton League, UAW and the Benton VFW. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, every one of his hunting and fishing buddies, and the trips they took to Canada. Dave loved his family, friends, nieces and nephews, and taking them fishing and hunting. Stock cars were a big part of Dave’s life and he enjoyed taking his 66 Chevelle to a lot of car shows. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Kevin Thorpe; and a sister, Connie Thorpe.
