Sandra E. Hartman (nee Riley) of Grove City, Ohio, slipped quietly away into God’s everlasting sunshine, surrounded by her loving family on the evening of March 19, 2015.

Sandy, a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother was a Hilltop girl who grew up on S. Oakley Avenue, attending West High School in the early 1960s. She worked for years at Hickory Hills Golf Club and was a member of Alton Darby Cypress Wesleyan Church. Sandy had incredible style, impeccable taste and made everything beautiful. She moved through her life touching those around her with quiet strength and grace. She had a special talent for interior decorating and enjoyed creating lovely homes for her family, often surprising them with a new color scheme or room arrangement. Sandy especially liked relaxing in the sun. She was an avid West Virginia State and Central Crossing football fan – Go Comets!

Sandy is preceded in death by her father, Richard R. Riley.

She is survived by her adoring husband, Richard E. Hartman; her three sons, Charles (Kelly) Williamson, Robert Williamson and Joseph (Tina) Williamson; stepsons, Jason (Mieke) Hartman and Jesse (Katie) Hartman; mother, Ruth Riley (nee Jacob); sisters, Rebecca (Butch) Cremeans, Patricia (Willard) Stainer, Geraldine “Geri” Riley; brother, Richard Riley; 11 grandchildren: Vincent, Trenton, Derrick, Jennifer, Lauren, Cameron, Chad, Christopher, Eva, Lila and Penny; 2 great-granddaughters: Jolene and Grace; many nieces, nephews and close friend, Sue Gorslene.

Visitation will be held at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St., Grove City, on Monday, March 23, 2015, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, with funeral service on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 10 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
