Judy Neeley Whitaker, of Liberty Hill, was born on Dec. 14, 1943, in Bullard. She died March 19, 2015, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Neeley; and mother, Lois Pike Neeley.
Survivors include her husband of 49 1/2 years, Wayne Whitaker; son, Daren Whitaker and wife Traci, their daughter Jessika Stanley and husband Chad, daughter, Katie Stone and husband Corey, daughter, Belle Luman, son, Conner Fisher, daughter, Brenna Whitaker; son, Jason Whitaker and wife Eileen, their daughters, Kenzie and Addie; daughter, Stacie McGregor and husband Mike, their daughters, Brooke and Paige; sister, Carolyn Blakely and husband Mack; and numerous nieces and nephews and several great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2015, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Bullard Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Neeley, Wayne Brewer, Pat Hulett, Jeff Moreno, Brian Blakely, Todd Hankins, Bill Harvey, Tony Whitaker, Chad Stanley and Don Cooper.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015, at the funeral home.
