Obit Excerpts: pub Tues. 23 Jun 1936 , Miami Daily News-Record, Miami OK -- DEATH TAKES CLEM MACKLIN -- Long-Time Miami Insurance Agent Succumbs At Age at 74 Years

Clem MACKLIN, 74, insurance agent here for approximately 18 yrs, died Monday night at Hotel Miami - had been in ill health for several years.

He came to Miami in 1914, w/exception of several yrs after 1920 when he was engaged at Mangum & other OK cities in his business, had sold insurance here.

No immediate survivors, although several nephews & nieces live at Geneva IN.

Funeral services conducted at Cooper’s chapel, Rev Harry W CURTIS officiating. Pallbearers: W W DOBSON, Charles ELLIS, E C FITZGERALD, Roy McGHEE, John SPEER & Joe MINNICK.

Burial: G A R Cem under direction of Cooper Undertaking Co.
