Thomas Marshall Funk, 47, of Fairmont passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2015. He was born in Marion County on October 7, 1967 a son of Katie (Baker) Funk Keefover of Fairmont and the late Robert Howard Funk.
Tom had worked in the housekeeping department of Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, his sons, Andrew and C. J. Funk and his daughter, Nikki Funk.
He is also survived by his brother, Tim Funk and his wife Tina of Morgantown and his sister, Tina Russell and her husband Mike of Rivesville; along with his nieces and nephews, Craig Bartholow, Casey Bartholow, Dawn Brookover, Devon Shelton, Dalton Russell, Heather Uphold and David Uphold.
In addition to his father, Tom was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Howard Funk.
Friends and Family may call at the Carpenter & Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant Street Fairmont on Sunday from 2pm to 8pm and Monday 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will be at the funeral home on Monday at 1pm with Jonathan Smith presiding. Interment services will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens.
