Mrs. Bonnie Lou Reynolds, age 56, of the Clark’s Valley section of Swords Creek, Virginia passed away Thursday (March 19, 2015) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital. Born November 20, 1958 in Richlands, Virginia, she was a daughter of Nadine Harris Stevens of Dante, Virginia and the late Johnny Stevens. A lifelong resident of Buchanan and Russell County, she was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She enjoyed sewing and crafts.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Janet Harris; two sisters, Connie Marshall and Barbara Gamble; two brothers, Terry Stevens and Danny Stevens.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Johnny Reynolds of the home; two daughters, Wilma Herrera of Honaker, Virginia and Regina Hicks and husband, Christopher of North Carolina; two goddaughters, Sarah Beth Goff and Tabitha Marie Smith; six grandchildren, Adrianna Katelynn Herrera, Luis E. Herrera, Lorainia S. Herrera, Miracle Hicks, Samantha Hicks and Ashley Hicks; one great-grandchild, Ryleigh Cole; three sisters, Norma Stevens, Brenda Stevens and Wanda Castle; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Lee Wilson and Rev. Robert Tiller officiating. Interment will follow in the Harris Cemetery on Combs Ridge.
Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends after 6 PM Saturday at the Honaker Funeral Home.
