Shannon E. Weber journeyed from this world on Wednesday, March 18, 2015. She was at her home, with her loving family.

Shannon was born April 21, 1965 in Neenah, daughter of the late Robert C. and Lois M. (Reichel) Kuchenbecker. She attended schools in Manitowoc graduating with the class of 1983 at Manitowoc Lincoln High School. She then continued her education at Silver Lake College. On May 25, 1996 Shannon married Gardy T. Weber in Newton. Shannon was employed at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in the Pastoral Care department. Here she found a fulfilling way to practice her way in caring. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, joining the Church Choirs with her gifted voice. Shannon founded a group entitled S.O.S., Serenity of Soul. A non-denominational gathering of people, in search of ways to embrace peace, acceptance, joy and understanding in their lives. A searching for serenity, in growing closer to her Faith. Shannon enjoyed walking, reading, spending every available moment with her husband and girls, and having coffee time with family and friends. She especially had a love for singing and music.

Shannon is survived by her husband: Gardy T. Weber, Manitowoc; two daughters: Gather Weber; Garden Weber, both of Manitowoc; mother-in-law: Marilyn Weber, Newton; one brother and four sisters: Jeff (Char) Kuchenbecker, Madison; Kathy Tetzloff, Mishicot; Sharon (Frank) Stevens, Appleton; Wendy (Mark) Prudowsky, Manitowoc; Becky (Steve) Zimmer, Cleveland, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law; two brothers: Bryon Kuchenbecker and Kevon Kuchenbecker.

A Celebration of Shannon’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at First Lutheran Church, 521 North 8th Street, Manitowoc. A Gathering of family and friends will take place before the Celebration Service from 3:30 until 6:45 p.m. Rev. Roald Harswick will officiate. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc is assisting the Weber family in completing Shannon's journey. Online condolences may be expressed at www.jensreinboldandpfeffer.com
