Jimmy Doyle Dean, 64 of Dyersburg, Tennessee died on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center in Dyersburg, Tennessee.
Born Saturday, August 27, 1950 in Lake County, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James R. Dean and the late Mattie Betsye Blair McCurdy.
He was a member of Prospect Church of Jesus Christ and retired factory employee
Funeral services for Mr. Dean will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, March 23, 2015 in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home with Bro. Julian Huey officiating. Interment will follow in Church Grove Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Jean Jones Dean of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one son, Jamie Brian Dean of Dyersburg, Tennessee; one daughter, Christy Dawn Webb and her husband Danny of Dyersburg, Tennessee; six , brothers, Robert Dean of Newbern, Tennessee, Carlton McCurdy of Florida, Jerry McCurdy of Troy, Tennessee, Curtis Dean, Jimmy Dean and Norman Dean all of Dresden, Tennessee; two sisters, Brenda Canada and Connie Scott both of Obion, Tennessee and two grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Hershel Dean and two sisters, Betty McCurdy and Linda Suppipat.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
