Shreveport chief of police. Killed in the line of duty. From the city of Shreveport Web site:

"Police Chief Huckabay went to Bossier Parish to assist in the arrest of a suspect wanted for killing Bossier Parish Deputy Marion Maurice Miller. Chief Huckabay was shot as he entered a farm house where the fugitive was located. Buried at Forest Park on St. Vincent Avenue."

The suspect, Ed "Man" West, was killed after he killed Huckabay.
