Joshua Thomas Watkins, 6, Lafayette, died at 11:12 p.m. June 28, 2003, in Riley Hospital for Children, Indianapolis, from injuries sustained in a car wreck.
Joshua was born July 17, 1996, in Lafayette to Ray and Tammy Goodnight Watkins.
He would have been in first grade at Vinton Elementary School, Lafayette, this fall and attended vacation Bible School at Faith Baptist Church.
Surviving with his parents are a brother, Dustin, and a sister, Shelby, both at home; maternal grandparents, William J. and Mary Goodnight of Frankfort; paternal grandparents, Tom and Jane Watkins of Lafayette; maternal great-grandmother, Mildred Barnaby of Lafayette; and paternal great-grandmother, Cora Gross of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Solar Baker Funeral Home, Lafayette, with the Rev. Timothy Rodriguez officiating.
Burial in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens.
