Rose Marie Merashoff, 93, of Ellworth, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Kindred Hospital, Oakdale, Pa. She was born Jan. 29, 1922, in Arnold City a daughter of John and Susan Moses Erdely. Rose Marie was a social member of the Croatian Club, Cokeburg and an avid bingo player. Surviving are a son, William J. Merashoff of Ellsworth; a daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Harry Gorby of Cokeburg; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Demitti who died in France during World War II; and her second husband, William "Weezer" Merashoff; a son, Richard Merashoff; daughter, Debra McKeta and a granddaughter, Natale Merashoff; four brothers, Julius, Frank, John and Joseph Erdely; and six sisters, Susan and Julia Lovas, Mary Erdely, Esther McGilvray, Thelma Wilkinson and Irene Stechly. Private funeral services were held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the LEONARD M. PAVLIC FUNERAL HOMES INC., Bentleyville. Interment was in Beallsville Cemetery.
