Adam M. Dammrich, 79-year-old retired sewing machine repairman of 601 Missouri Avenue, East St. Louis, died at 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the Hodges Nursing Home, East St. Louis. Last employed by the Singer Sewing Machine Company, Mr. Dammrich had been in failing health for some time and bedfast since last August.
He was born in 1868, a son of the late Adam and Frances Dammrich, nee Boul. His wife the former Tillie Jung, whom he married in Belleville about 50 years ago [November 26, 1896], preceded him in death.
Surviving are a son and daughter;
Harold Dammrich, Phoenix Ariz.
Lenore, wife of Michael Pallozolo, St. Louis
... and three sisters;
Mrs. Frances Renner, 706 Centreville Ave
Mrs. Anna Poirot, Baden, Mo.
Mrs. Ida Gettler, Pine Lawn, Mo.
Funeral at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday to St. Peter's Cathedral at 10 a.m. and interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
