WILLIAM B. MILLER

William B. Miller, aged 81 years, vice president of the Glen Rock State bank, died last evening at 7:45 o'clock at his home, Glen Rock R.D. Death followed a lingering illness.
Mr. Miller, who had been in the milling business for 50 years, was a charter member of the board of directors of the Glen Rock State bank. He was a member of St. Jacob's Reformed church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Annie Rohrbaugh, at home; three grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alice Albright, Brodbeck R.D., and one brother, Howard Miller, Spring Grove R.D.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. (DST) Monday with brief rites from the late home and concluding obsequies in St. Jacob's (Stone) church. The Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed charge, will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Friends may call at the Geiple funeral home, Glen Rock, Saturday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock, and at his late residence from Sunday noon until the time of the funeral.


William B. Miller was born September 6, 1865, and died at his home at Rockville, Pa., September 12, 1946, aged 81 years and 6 days.
Mr. Miller had been in declining health for some time and death came as a welcome relief to all suffering. He had been a well known and respected citizen in his community. He carried on the milling business for more than 50 years at the same place. He took an interest in the community life, serving as school director of Codorus Township for a number of years, and as a bank director.
He was a faithful member and a liberal supporter of St. Jacob's (Stone) Evangelical and Reformed Church. In him the pastor had a loyal and devoted friend.
The funeral services were held from his late home at Rockville on Monday afternoon, September 16, 1946. Further services were held in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church where a large number of relatives and friends were in attendance. The funeral text was II Tim. 4:7. Burial was made in the new cemetery at the Stone Church.
