Charlene Davidson, 84, of Poplar Bluff, Mo. died March 13, 2015 at
Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. She was born September 13,
1930 to the late Marvin Newman and Linda Sheppard Newman. She
was a long time resident of Poplar Bluff. She was a member of the
First United Methodist Church.
She was married to Joe Davidson. He survives
She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, David H. Davidson of
Poplar Bluff; two daughters, Sonia Joseph of Denver, Co.; Debbie Sue
Woodruff of St. Charles, Mo.; one brother Jerry Newman of Texas;
one sister Betty Williams of Texarkana, Tx,; five grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 11 AM, Tuesday at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Chapel
followed by a graveside service at 12 PM at City Cemetery. The Rev.
David Stewart will officiate. Memorials may be made to St. Judes
Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN
38101-9908.
