On November 27, 1935 Ardis married Raymond E. Miller in Breckenridge.
Ardis worked as a bookkeeper for Hall’s Lumber Company in St. Louis for many years. She was a faithful member of the Alma Wesleyan Church, where she taught Sunday School and acted as a board member. She also enjoyed sharing her gift of music with her congregation as a pianist and organist. Ardis graciously opened up her home to anyone in need of a place to stay and thoroughly loved sharing meals with family and friends. She will be remembered for her delicious pies, especially her coconut cream pie.
Ardis is survived by her children, Helen (Jerry) Bebow of Vestaburg and Gary (Dianne) Miller of Mt. Pleasant, eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond, a daughter, Barbara Jean Netzley, a granddaughter, Wendie Shook, a great-grandson, Kurtis Buschlur and six brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma with Pastor Carl Cecil of Faith First Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith First Church.
