Mrs. Armstrong’s family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home and Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Armstrong died peacefully Thursday morning March 19, 2015.
She was born July 23, 1935 in Cookeville, Tennessee to the late Virgil William Pate and Lassie Walden Loftis Bennett.
She was a member of Collegeside Church of Christ and a retired Commercial Food Teacher at Gallatin High School.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene & Dr. Lloyd Franklin of Cookeville and Melody & Randy Dunn of Gallatin; and six grandchildren, Brian Franklin, Stephen Franklin, Robert Franklin, Blake (Rebecca) Dunn, Ashlynn Dunn, and Bailey Dunn.
Mrs. Armstrong’s granddaughters will serve Honorary Pallbearers. Her grandsons and sons-in-law will be Active Pallbearers.
