Henry Willard Alexander was born March 30, 1938 in Lafayette TN, to the late Jesse Alexander and Bertha Johns. He was one of eight siblings born to this union. For thirty-five years Henry had his own transmission shop and loved working on cars. After retirement he helped run auctions and made several pieces of furniture. He enjoyed being outdoors and wasn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. If he wasn’t camping, then he was on the riverbank with a fishing pole in his hands. Henry was a good hearted simple kind of man with an outgoing personality. During his last ten years Henry spent those with his fiancé Rose McLaughin and cared for her deeply. He will be dearly missed and leaves behind so many precious memories. He was preceded in death by; wife, Ruby Johnson Johns Alexander, two brothers, J.T. Alexander, Relisdean Alexander, and a sister, Olene Carr. On March 18, 2015 at the age of 76, the Lord called Henry to his new home.
Henry is survived by; Fiancé, Rose McLaughin, Two Daughters, Melinda Huntsman and husband Johnny, Melissa Ferguson and husband Robert, Two Sons, Randy Alexander, Anthony Alexander, Four Sisters, Annie Jo Graves, Ruby Graves and husband Kenneth, Lois Dean Cox and husband Jerry, Bonnie Woods, 13 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services for Henry Alexander were conducted Saturday March, 18th 2015 at 2PM from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Eugene May officiating. Interment followed in the New Zion Cemetery in Westmoreland TN.
