Cleta Pauline (Pendergraft) Hull passed away on August 3, 2017 at the age of 87 at Windsor Place Nursing Home in Coffeyville, Kansas.
Pauline was born on September 7, 1929 to Oscar Benton and Gattie (Roberts) Pendergraft in Mena, Arkansas. She grew up in Lenapah, Oklahoma and graduated from Lenapah High School in 1947 where she played basketball, the team went to State her senior year.
On April 18, 1949 she married James Russell Hull in Arkansas. They made their home in Coffeyville, Kansas where they lived in the same house all their married life. During their marriage Pauline helped her husband with his Aluminum Products business and rental property. She also helped at West Coffeyville School coach girls' basketball for her daughters, led Girl Scouts, and held PTA office. She was an accomplished seamstress and sewed most of her daughters' clothes. She enjoyed reading, reading, gardening and having family-get-togethers.
Those proceeding her in death were her husband of 64 years on December 19, 2013, her brother, Oscar Benton, sisters, Velma (Pete) Yockey, Francis (Nadine) Yockey, Bobbie Blue and her parents.
Those left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Deborah (Mark) Moore of Edmond, OK and Vickie (Rick) Brinkman of Wann, OK. Grandchildren Chris (Lisie) Adamson of Edmond, OK; Jamie (Shea) Adamson of Oklahoma City, OK; Katie Calder of Edmond, OK and Matt Brinkman of Wann, OK. Great Grandchildren, Luke, Grady, Everet and Lenora Adamson of Edmond, OK and Avery and Alex Adamson of Oklahoma City, OK; sister, Carol (Jim) Brown of Marshall, MO, sister-in-law's, Dona Keith of Baxter Springs, KS and Shirley Pendergraft of Leavenworth, KS and many special nieces and nephews and their families.
Services will held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 11:00 am at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Chapel in Coffeyville, Kansas, burial will follow at Mount Washington Cemetery in Lenapah, OK. Friends may sign the register from Noon to 5pm on Monday, August 7, 2017 at the chapel. The family suggest memorial contributions be made payable to the American Heart Association or the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in honor of survivor-granddaughter Shea Adamson, contributions may be left with the chapel.
