Ann Johns Hale, 77, of Lovingston, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, at her residence.Born October 27, 1937, in Nelson County a daughter of the late Robert Melvin Johns and Elizabeth Giles Johns.

Ann was a clerk for Central Virginia Electric Co-Operative for over 20 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon H. Claus (Roy), of Nokesville; son, Barry N. Hale (Gerry), of Huntley, Mont.; sister, Mary Frances Houchens (Dickie) of Lovingston; grandchildren, Whitney D. Coffee (Justin) of Greer, S.C.. and Samuel S. Smith of Warrington; and two great grandchildren, Nathan and Natalee Coffee.

A funeral Service to celebrate Ann's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church in Lovingston with Pastor A.C. Smith and Pastor John P. Campbell officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Memorial Park in Arrington.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church and suggests that memorials take the for of donation to Calvary Baptist Church 8408 Thomas Nelson Highway, Lovingston Virginia 22949, Nelson County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 44, Faber, Virginia 22938 or charity of choice.Arrangements by Wells/Sheffield Funeral Chapel of Lovingston (434) 263-4097.
