Steven attended the City of Refuge Church in Selmer and the Bethel Springs Church of God, which is father helped build. He was an artist. He loved singing in church. He enjoyed playing computer games, eating Chinese food, and collecting transformer characters and movies. Steven's nickname was "Tacoman" for his love for eating.
He is survived by his children, Michael Todd Chandler, Alexis Chandler, Cylie
Chandler, Faith Chandler; two grandchildren, Arianna and Kailyn; his mother, Betty Battles Chandler Smith; a sister, Vickey Chandler Wiggins and husband Charles; two brothers, Johnny Lynn Chandler and wife Brenda, Tracy Wayne Chandler and wife Tisha; his stepfather, Gerald C. Smith; two stepsisters, Cindy Hamm and husband Keith, Roxanne Sims and husband David; a stepbrother, Stanley Smith and wife Jennifer. Steven is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by a brother, William Paul Chandler.
