Glenda Bowman
WOOSTER -- Glenda C. Bowman, 65, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2012, in her home.

She was born July 6, 1946 in Massillon, the daughter of Glen and Hazel Trachsel Bunting, and married Larry J. Bowman on Nov. 5, 1963. He survives.

She had been a homemaker for the last 26 years and had previously worked at West View Manor as a nurse's aide, Smithville-Western Care Center as a dietician, Regal Ware as a stamper, Your Pizza Shop and Nickles Department Store.

Glenda was a member of Highland Church of God, Orrville Christian Missionary Alliance and the Gnat Boxers Square Club. She loved gardening, sewing and her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are children, Larry John Bowman Jr. of Massillon, Christeena Marie Turner of Orrville, Tony Wayne (Bonita) Bowman of Dalton, and Tammie Arlene (David) Haskins of Owensville, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Jim Bunting of Wooster; and sisters, Verna Fuller of Wooster, Karen Cole of Mansfield, Connie Sumtner of Wadsworth and Nettie Shaffer of Wooster.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be Saturday, July 14 at 3 p.m. at Highland Church of God, 669 W. Highland Ave., Wooster, with the Rev. Lisa Burrell officiating.

McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family.
