Mr. Kimbrough passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, in Tyler. He was born on Dec. 12, 1936, in Bell, Calif., to the late Charles Martin and Mary Cahill Kimbrough. Bob was an amateur pilot and enjoyed flying. He retired as a plant manager for National Can Corp. and Roadmaster Industries. Mr. Kimbrough was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his brother, M. Mike Kimbrough; sister, Pat Worthington; and nephew Jake Wardlow.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Kimbrough of Whitehouse; sons, Gregory and wife Roxann Kimbrough of Whitehouse; Michael and wife Jennifer Kimbrough of Edmond, Okla.; grandsons, Chase Kimbrough, Scott Kimbrough, Garrett Gardner and Jeffrey Kimbrough and mother, Nancy Jo Shurtleff; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and husband Cooper Wardlow of Whitehouse; nieces, Becky Williams of Bellevue, Wash., and Debi Wardlow of Tyler; great nephews, Drew Williams of Bellevue, Wash., and Zachary Wardlow of Tyler; and several other nephews, nieces and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice of Tyler, 1402 Rice Road, Suite 100, Tyler, 75703.
