Jennings Daniel Webb
Jennings Daniel Webb, age 73 of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015. Born August 13, 1941 in Tazewell County, Virginia he was the son of the late Charlie and Mollie Osborne Webb.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters Nadine Lester, Doris Rose, Sue Gross and Annis Webb; one brother Curtis Webb.
Jennings was a retired mine Forman for Island Creek VP1 and worked for the coal industry for many years. He loved bowling and traveling and was of the Holiness Faith.
He is survived by one son J.D. Webb of Doran, Virginia; one daughter Sharon Roach and husband Sam of Hopewell, Virginia; loving companion and caregiver Juanita Ball; two sisters Esther Russell and husband Alfred of Bandy, Virginia, Emma Absher and husband Jerry of Raven, Virginia; adopted daughter Kym Dunford and husband Marty of Wytheville, Virginia; four grandchildren Alex, Allison, Daisey and Eli; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Virginia with Rev. Troy Street and Rev. Eddie Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 P.M. Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff, Virginia.
